A few days after moving to her dream city of San Francisco in October 2023, Chef Frida embarked on her adventure with Dalida and now Maria Isabel. Born in Southern California to Mexican parents from Jalisco and Mexicali, BC., she’s passionate about green tape labels, chasing the perfect tortilla puff and the sight of a spotless, organized walk-in on a Saturday night. A self-proclaimed California girl, cookbook hoarder, and explorer of new restaurants, Frida loves the outdoors-whether hiking, kayaking, bird watching, or biking along the coast with her road bike, Bingo. When she's not in the kitchen, you can find her in the community garden, tending to seedlings, watering the Dalida plots, picking flowers for garnish, or occasionally enjoying a cup of coffee and a good book on a sunny day.

Her philosophy is that working and creating with your hands becomes an act of bliss-a gift, a catharsis, and a craft that transforms cooking into something truly fulfilling and gratifying
